RULING:


Legal play. Because A78’s clip was above the knees and he was in the tackle
box, the clip was legal. The forward handing is legal because it was behind
the line of scrimmage. As long as the “crack back” block was in front, the
block is legal because A11 was inside the frame of the tackles at the snap. If
his block was in the back, then it would be IBB, enforced 10 yards from the
previous spot. Assuming the block was legal, it will be 1st and G for A from
the b6. Play clock reset to 40 when the officials stopped the clock to award A
a first down, and the clock starts on the ready.
